You've been using Smart Pool AI for over a month now, and we couldn't be more grateful to have you with us. Thank you — genuinely. 🙏
This final guide in the series is a collection of the tips and features that even experienced Smart Pool AI users sometimes miss. Each one is small, but they add up to a noticeably better experience.
The Tips
Check the Temperature Without Unlocking Your Phone
Just ask: "Alexa, ask Smart Pool what's my pool temperature." Get an instant answer from across the yard, from inside the house, or from the car on your way home. No unlocking, no opening the app — just ask.
Check the Temperature from Anywhere
Open Smart Pool AI from anywhere with an internet connection and see your pool temperature live — while traveling, at work, or from bed. The home screen shows live status the moment you open the app.
Create a "Bedtime" Scene That Turns Everything Off
We hear from users all the time: "Did I leave the lights on?" Create a Bedtime scene that turns off every circuit — pool, spa, lights, waterfall, everything. One tap at night gives you total peace of mind. Schedule it automatically at 11pm and you never have to think about it again.
Name Your Scenes Descriptively — It Matters for Alexa
Scenes named "Scene 1" are hard to remember and awkward to say. Scenes named "Saturday Night," "Morning Swim," "Guest Mode," or "Movie Night" are natural to say and easy to find. A good scene name makes both tapping and voice commands feel effortless.
Check Your Pool While Traveling
Smart Pool AI works from anywhere in the world with an internet connection. When you're away, open the app and see exactly what's running, check temperatures, and turn anything off with a tap. Great for peace of mind on long trips — no need to ask a neighbor to check on the pool.
Ask Alexa for a Full Status Update
Not sure what's running? Ask: "Alexa, ask Smart Pool for my pool status." You'll get a complete summary — what's on, what's off, and the current temperatures. Great for a quick check without walking outside.
Use Smart Heat Before Guests Arrive
The Smart Heater scene is genuinely the most-used feature for entertaining. Set a target temperature the evening before a party, and your pool will be at the perfect temperature when guests arrive — without you checking it once. It just works.
Something Unexpected Happened? Check the Activity Log
If your pool behaves unexpectedly — lights that came on, a circuit that turned off — Smart Pool AI logs every action with a timestamp and source (iPhone, Alexa, Siri, schedule). Open the activity log in the app to see exactly what happened and when. No more mystery.
Use the "Bedtime" Voice Command
Create a "Bedtime" scene in the app that turns everything off, then run it from Alexa: "Alexa, ask Smart Pool to run Bedtime." Your whole pool shuts down in one command. Schedule it automatically and you never have to think about it.

Clean your pool filter every 2–3 months. A clogged filter makes your pump work harder, reducing water flow and increasing energy use. Cartridge filters can be rinsed with a garden hose. DE and sand filters need a backwash cycle. A clean filter is one of the best things you can do for the long-term health of your equipment.
